Multiple Indicator Weighing System
The R400, 5000 and R300 series indicators can all be networked back to a controlling PC.
Benefits of networking:
- Uses only one communication port on the master computer
- Saves on communications cabling

R400 Series Indicators
R420-K401 and K402 indicators can be setup in a multi-drop RS485 networked configuration with connection back to a controlling PC.
5000 Series Indicators
The 5000 can be setup in a multi-drop RS485 or Modbus ASCII network with connection back to a controlling PC.
R300 Series Indicators
The R300 supports RS232 ring functionality back to a master computer making it suitable for basic weight networked applications.
- Connect up to 31xR320s into a ring network
- Simple setup with the R300 Viewer

Process Control
The R400, 5000 and 1203 indicators are all suitable for process control applications with their analogue output support, isolated I/O and RS232/RS485 communications.
The R400 is expandable up to 32 I/O for larger installations. The 1203 is lead free.

R400 Series Indicators
Both the R42x-K401 and K402 are suitable for integration into a PLC environment with their analogue output module and expandable I/O :
- Built-in RS232 serial communication
- Optional RS485 networking
Precise Analogue Output Module
- Analogue Output 4-20mA or 0-10V with 1/65,000 resolution (optional module)
- Output isolated to resist system noise and interference therefore reducing unnecessary callouts
- Precise with a 400Hz (2.5msec) update rate
Robust Input/Output Modules
- The indicator can be configured with up to 32 I/O. (optional modules)
- Direct connection between I/O points is supported.
- Outputs are isolated to resist system noise.
- These high side (400mA current source) drivers are capable of driving low voltage actuators directly or can be connected directly with PLC controllers.

5000 Series Indicators
The 5000 with its analogue output module and support for common industry standards used in process control make it suitable for system integration:
- RS232 and RS485 serial outputs
- Modbus ASCII
- Analogue Output 4-20mA or 0-10V with 1/65,000 resolution (optional module)
- Isolated digital I/O (4 in/4 out) (optional module)

Weight Transmitters
The 1203 weight transmitter is an economical, robust instrument that provides fast and accurate weight readings with an onboard analogue output that makes it suitable for connecting to PLCs.
- RS232 and RS485 serial outputs
- 2 Isolated low side driver outputs and 1 isolated input
- Analogue Output Configurable (4-20mA, 0-24mA, 0-20mA, –10-10V, 0-10V, 2-10V, 0-5V, 1-5V) with 1/65,000 resolution
- 100Hz (10msec) update rate
